You should be alright, but that CPU is on the "meh" side and having integrated graphics rather than a good GPU is also a downer. But still, you can run the game fine, but probably won't be able to crank up the video settings.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.

With optifine and Video settings and animations down, what do you think the fps will look like??
I'd say you;d get around 40-50fps unmoded as long as you keep the video settings low. With mods it should be in the 20-30fps range. Intel typically has very poor integrated graphics, AMD's Radeon integrated graphics are normally a better choice.

You should get a nice fps boost with that, maybe even above 60. Still, you probably can't blast the settings to the top. Mind you, Optifine can make things very glitchy.

I had a laptop with an i3-4010m and Intel HD 4400, and I got around 60-100 fps on low settings. You should easily be able to get past 100 fps on low - med graphics. Over 60 fps on close to maxed out.

With optifine that laptop can easily get above 60 fps on high settings
You should be absolutely fine running Minecraft with the integrated graphics, the 530 is actually pretty decent for stuff like MC. But possibly in the future consider getting a dedicated GPU if you wish to play other demanding games.

Can you match my resolve? If so then you will succeed. - Monty Oum
Intel "HD" graphics are usually rubbish when it comes to gaming. With those, you will get 30-40 FPS at most. Try to get something with an AMD APU, they are much cheaper and are better for gaming.

I have about the same laptop as you, same brand and specs, except for the processor. You will be able to play pretty well at mid-low video settings
