Hello, I've made a thread about this but received very little help.
Any suggestions on headphones with a good mic? A clear one mainly used for recordings?
One I wanted was microsoft livechat LX-3000 (the one LDShadowlady used), but it's very dated and I can't find it near me anywhere now, it's like a 2009 model but it sounds reasonably good for its price.
May headphones come with absolutely horrendous microphone. You're much better buying a cheap-ish set of headphones and a decent desktop mic like a snowball or a Behringer C-1.

Problem is, my laptop has only one thing to plug things into (words) and I really am struggling.
Any suggestions?
Senneheseir is the one you should go for, but if you want some style you can go with beats headphones and if you want sound quality you can go for custom earbuds.

Thank you.

Budget?
Depending on budget, I'd get a desk mic/mod mic and a set of headphones. That's going to be quite the expensive though.

My currency with America is kind of different. But I'd say $50?

Then you're probably back with headsets. That's about the price of an alright desktop mic alone.

Has a pretty decent microphone, cheap, but flimsy

Get what Mallow suggested, you'll need a splitter. Either that or try and find a cheap headset with USB Connectivity like the Raptor HS40

Problem is that the headset has a pretty rubbish microphone.
thank you for the information
