Thank your for your time I appreciate any advice anyone's has.

Windows 10 edition
Just checking, does the "Windows 10 edition" refer to Minecraft?
Because the Win 10 edition is a version of Pocket edition (mainly for phones and tablets) and doesn't have mods and plugins, on a PC you'd normally want the PC edition no matter which Windows (or Linux) you have on the computer.
then yeah if you want to play normal minecraft (PC version) you will have to put the laptop back to windows 7 or earlier, if its the windows 10 edition you want to play it should (maybe) work, not sure on specs needed for win 10 edition
No you don't? You can play normal minecraft on Windows 10...
And this laptop will NOT run minecraft. Unless you're happy will 10-15 fps on lowest settings. And add mods and Skype and it most likely won't even run at all.
Yes minecraft will work on windows 10. Bit this laptops gpu is not windows 10 supported so it won't. It's gpu lost support at windows 7, hence why I said downgrade windows
Doesn't matter though, regular minecraft still won't be playable
If the GPU isn't even supported by Windows 10, than it's a sign that it's way too outdated of a computer.
Outdated with newer version of Windows (8 & 10) as drivers are not officially supported past Windows 7. Performance wouldn't be great anyway, specs aren't strong enough to play Minecraft at the settings you want (probably, I haven't played Minecraft in over 2 years, so out of the loop on what is required to actually run it well nowadays).
As for anyone else with GMA 4500MHD graphics and Windows 10, installing this driver in compatibility mode for Windows 8/8.1 may work. Unconfirmed.
an wondering if this is capable of playing minecraft with plug-ins an mods on medium settings without lag an possible running skype in the back ground to voice chat.
No. This laptop will not run mods on medium settings with Skype without lag. According to most youtube vids, just minecraft on the lowest setting with no mods and no Skype will run at around 20-30 fps. Which is pretty laggy imho. And this is on Windows 7/8
Also why are you buying such an old computer? This laptop is worth a max of $50
That's why I asked on here ^^ bcuz I didn't know an I won't now I just wanna be able to play pc minecraft an the other main reason is because I have no money to afford a 2010 or newer labtop so I was going to trade my ps3 for it but now I know its a hunk of junk so i guess I will just go without a labtop forever

just sell your PS3 and save up. It's not worth trading a PS3 for a 6 year old low-end laptop
