I am looking to build a PC for $450-$500. I don't know too, too much about about it, just the basic things you might need to know if you are planning on building a computer. I just want it to max Minecraft and run other games smoothly on medium to high settings. If possible, I would like it to be $450-$500 with the optical drive and the OS. This will be my first build.Thank you.
Yikes! That's too far above my price range. Highest I will go is $500 but I would like to stay around $450. What could I change to get it in that ballpark?

Would this one carry out my demands? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/G2qppg
That GPU price isn't being figured in, that build is more like 580$

I'm going to be honest, I'd wait until you have a better budget.
I mean something like this would work, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PFXyrH
But it's at the top of your budget and has almost no upgrade path..
