I was just curious what is the best mechanical keyboard? i was looking at the razer blackwidow but i was just curious if there is any other better keyboards out there? I really want a mechanical keyboard because they sound really cool sounds satisfying to type on.
thanks for the help!
I'd say any Vengeance K70. Genuine Cherry keys, and a TON of customization options, some of which aren't matched by any other keyboard.
The Blackwidow supposedly has keys rated to 10 million more keystrokes than Cherry keys, but they haven't been on the market long and Cherry keys have been trusted for 15 years already. Also, Razer has pretty bad QC and customer support.
Thanks for the help man I'll take what you said in to consideration
I personally have a razer blackwidow with the razer green switches (which are actually manufactured by khail) and I've had no problems.
The tactile bump is what made me go for the clicky keys, but after a while the audible click does become a bit of a pain to listen to everytime you press a key, just take that into consideration.
If you're really set on getting a full on clicky keyboard (Cherry MX Blues/Razer Greens) then go for it, or if you just want the tactile bump from pressing the keys down then go for Cherry MX browns or Razer Oranges.
Most mechanical keyboards nowadays have a more than satisfactory build quality. It's all just personal preference; if you like the matte black look of a blackwidow, go for that, if you like the brushed metal look of Corsair K70-95 then go for that.
The only thing you need to factor in is the sound of the keys and what you specifically want. Will the people around you get annoyed by the constant clicking and clacking of a clicky keyboard? etc.
I have a Corsair Vengeance K70 (nonRGB) and it is by far the best keyboard I have ever owned. It's comfortable, good looking and easy to use. VERY well built too.
The main benefit for my having the keyboard is that it's improved my typing speed dramatically.

I'd reccomend the razer blackwidow, It's quite nice on the hands and has a good feel when using it.

I've had the razer blackwidow for about 6 months now; all I can say is that it's an amazing keyboard. Feels very nice to type on, and has improved my pvp in minecraft a little bit; only the strafing and reaction though, stuff like that.
I have a Unicomp mechanical, it's basically a copy of the IBM Model M just updated with USB and Windows/context keys. I like it, it's rugged and has a nice feel. I've had it five years and nothing has gone wrong with it and the letters haven't faded or anything. My buddy just emailed me a month ago bragging about his Das mechanical keyboard - http://www.daskeyboard.com/ They look pretty slick, laser etched keys, nice volume knob and has N-key rollover. My Unicomp doesn't do NKRO which annoys me, but then, the Unicomp ran me $80 vs his Das's $170 lol.
the Logitech g710+. cherry mx keys. i think there 6 programmable keys (g-keys) 1 or 2 usb ports with holes in bottom for wires to go through (i don't know if that's there [defentley on the g19s]). backlit keys and a switch to prevent windows key button from being used while gaming. no excuse to not get this keyboard, everything you ever wanted. no cons from my experience. g19s has a everything this has + a LCD backlit screen which requires a power cable to the wall which is why i don't recommend that to you.

The G19s isn't mechanical and is overpriced and useless pretty much.

And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear.
