This. Probably the best way to spend the money. Graphics card is pretty damn decent already for 1080p, really only your cpu holding you back and your power supply is rather low quality so it is a good choice to replace it.
I can't really get the PSU, as I like to order all my stuff though Amazon (Because I have prime, why not use it?) and the Seasonic takes 2-3 days + adds on an extra £15 for shipping. Is there any other I could choose?

You're spending that much to overclock an 8350 to possibly come close to the performance of an i5?
What was the point of even making this thread if you're going to ignore everybody's suggestion? You pulled the exact same crap with your Seidon 120V vs 212 Evo thread as well.

"Close to the performance of an i5" The 8350 has been compared to some of the most popular of i5's (Mainly the 3570k) and has beaten it in most tasks.
I don't see the point in splashing so much into an i5 when I can get pretty much the same performance of an AMD CPU that'll last me for years, the exact same as intel.

If you factor in the cost of your Sabertooth and 212 Evo you're spending at least $50 more for less performance. I don't really consider that "the exact same".
The i5's offer significantly better singlethreaded performance, and you'll see gains in gaming because of that. If you're doing multitasking, I would still think the i5 would be better as I doubt any programs you're running are fully saturating the CPU. Multithreaded is not the same as multitasking. The i5 is your best bet.
Yeah I've read the biggest concern with the 8350 is with its multi-tasking abilities, to fully utilize its potential, the programs you're wanting to multitask on has to be threaded the same way the processor is
Well considering I use Photoshop, After Effects and Sony Vegas more often than other things I've been told the 8350 would perform much better.
I did a little research for you, and this is what I gathered from multiple sources. While some areas of PS, AE, and SV are multi-threaded, some are not,. I think it would be in your best interest to look up which areas are, so you can judge whether or not the purchase of an 8350 would be justified. Because who knows, you may be thinking you'll have better performance in an area you're not looking to use mostly.
yo. if you can shave 50 bucks from somewhere, id add in an SSD. they pretty cheap anymore. all in all. the parts you listed + whatever you are going to reuse would work. 1 minor thing i would do is maybe not get a so expensive board. you can do 95% of everything you want on a board that costs much less. my 2 cents.
It really won't be much faster in any case, you're better off saving the money and going with the intel build which will have better performance in most applications or at the very least getting a cheaper motherboard with the 8350.
So over the few weeks I've had a strict budget of £250 to get myself some new computer parts. I've now found out I can increase my budget to £400
I need:
New CPU (Preferably AMD - I just prefer it over Intel)
Decent Motherboard
8GB of RAM
New PSU Possibly
Note: I want to get a new case, the Bitfenix Shinobi as well.
My current specs:
AMD Athlon x4 760k
MSI A78M-E35
4GB Corsair Value RAM
MSI R9 270 2GB
500w EVGA 80+ Non-Modular PSU
Zalman Z3 Plus Mid-Tower Case
ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£65.45 @ More Computers)
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory (£59.24 @ Ebuyer)
SeaSonic EVO Edition 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£63.74 @ Scan.co.uk)
Total: £328.42
Left money for the Shinobi as well.

It looks to me that the i5 beats the 8350 more often than not, while consuming less power.

good luck though on your future purchase.
