Hello there,
I am a resident of San Diego California.
I was wondering where to get super fast internet connection.
Like 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
If you know of any providers that cover San Diego, please post it here...
I doubt you could get 50/20 on a home connection, the best I've seen is 50/5, then again, I live nowhere near you (you could always check the website of your current provider and search for a better plan, but if you use DSL, switch to cable)

windoge 8 has the saddest excuse for a BSOD, it just tells you the type of error, no stop code, no nothing, just "something went wrong, all your unsaved work has now been lost to the void that is volatile memory"
Why is it so rare to get good broadband in the US? It seems typical for people to have fibre optic here in the UK?
60/18
Because ISPs have monopoly's on a lot of smaller places, like where I used to live, we could only get 1.5Mbps down and .5Mbps up, and that was ~55 dollars a month.
Then we moved, and got cable, and get 15Mbps down and 5Mbps up
And thats for ~30 dollars a month, and includes a phone, and tv plan. That's cheap as crap.

No, that is actually horrible dude LOL. But yeah, American ISP's. Between American ISP's and the NSA, we are going to drive the IT monopoly to other countries!

Eh, it's decent compared to other places in my state. No it's not the best, but it's better than most.
I would recommend fiber-optic ISPs for super fast internet such as AT&T U-verse or Verizon FiOS whichever one is in your area. If you want to move to some parts of Kansas City, you can get Google Fiber. I would not recommend Cable as it is horribly unreliable and slows down if a lot of people in your neighborhood are using it too. I have Comcast cable for internet and it sucks bad. I know someone with U-Verse and they don't have any problem at all. He has had maybe 1 U-verse outage out of all the time he has had them. The only reason we chose Comcast is because AT&T was not available in our area. They just recently got the U-Verse fiber optic stuff in the neighborhood so we can get it but now we still on a contract with Comcrap.

oh great, comcrap, and if you can ge it, go for fibre, but most ISPs refuse to upgrade saying "there isn't enough demand" if you can get away with charging $50+ a month for 5/1 with no bundling and as a promotional price, there is a great demand for internet, otherwise we would just say f*** you, we will not pay $50+ a month for crap internet just so you can up your CEOs yacht bonus by $40 a month

Are you referring to where OP lives or what? I could easily pay for home internet speeds that fast where I live. (I don't because I don't need it) I'm not quite understanding.

was referring to where OP lives, I have no idea what the internet monopoly is in his location (he lives in the US, and here, internet is a regional monopoly, and they threaten to "stop innovating and upgrading" if they get regulated by the FCC, but 0 - 0 = 0)
