Im just curious how people are taking care of their computers
My normal Temp is
CPU: 25°C
Mobo: 45°C
GPU: 31°C
HDD: 32°C
Fan Speed: 1250-1280 Highest 2500
Its always cold in my room mainly because my air flow is so good my PSU is a Dual fan for better airflow
and i also have a stock case fan
This computer was built in 2006 was a family PC but i got it last year
Before i got this PC is was very slow and crap couldnt play GTA SA over 15 FPS even at 800x600 and had 768MB RAM
but when i got it i installed 3 1GB sticks and a 512MB stick and my GPU is using that 512MB stick leaving me 3GB and im running FalloutNV on high no AA with 10 Mods including EVE i run at a average 25-60
Depending what area im in or if there is 12 bad guys shooting at me
Im currently working on upgrading my OS and CPU
and if your wondering my specs are
CPU Athlon X2 64 4200+
GPU Zotac GT630 2GB Synergy Edition
RAM 3GB
HDD 250GB
OS XP
Rather cool, but that's not really a bad thing. To be expected from a low-end system.
Ehh i prefer the term "Entry" level know matter how poop it seems its does the job for the games i wanna play like
when i get my internet fixed im mostly just gonna be playing TF2 and Gmod
HWMonitor and Speccy etc report the package temperature of AMD FX processors wrong at low temperatures. The accurate temperature to watch when not under load is TMPIN0. 34 deg TMPIN0 and 18 deg package is alright for an 8320, not awesome, but not bad either.
I noticed that your GPU is.. a bit crooked why is that?
Really not a concern it has been setting like that for 3-4 years at this point granted not always in this motherboard. I could easily bolt or glue a small piece of metal to the HDD cage and have it hold up the GPU. It is a 6970 a large and pretty damn heavy GPU.
Well on idle I'm at 32 degrees on my GPU and my CPU is at 33 degrees.
No one cares about idle though, load is where it's at. My CPU gets to 62 degrees with a 4.6ghz overclock but my GPU gets to 80 degrees. I really need to get some better fans to deal with the pathetic airflow at the front of the 350d...

Mm, load temps here (Prime95 stress with small FFTs):
I am pumping through a fair deal more vcore than needed though, had a BSOD a couple of weeks ago and haven't bothered taking the time to tune it back down again.
That's about what my vcore is at and I have a similar situation, tweaked the vcore up to 1.36 early on and haven't toned it back. Still, I'm not too concerned since I have 62 degree load temps and no bsods (or any funky business whatsoever).
I almost want to get a custom loop to get my gpu temps down a bit though, not liking them 80 degree temps on my 780 (asus dcu2 one too which is supposed to be a pretty damn effective cooler). Not overclocked too hard either, just at 1200mhz core. I could just set the fan profile to be a bit more aggressive too but I hate it when my computer gets loud, even when using headphones so I can't hear it at all.
Makes me wonder if a stock cooler would do a better job in my rather airflow limited case...

Mm, might do. A reference cooler would be pushing all the heated air directly out the back of the case instead of inside it as well, so it would drop the temperature. By how much though, I have no idea.

Welp, time to look around and see if anyone is willing to go for a swap... Hopefully I'll have some luck, this card is actually very good when you have good airflow (I've tested it with side panel and front opened up, stayed around 70 degrees and was incredibly quiet).

If its too warm, don't use your computer.
The graphics card is running slightly hot because it's a reference cooler.
What do you mean? is it to hot or to cold?
And i always have a fan thats always on

Pretty much what I would expect except for the motherboard, not warm enough to be of concern by any stretch of the imagination.
It is about 10C in my room at the moment. Housing here is expensive so I live in a garage with no heater currently.
I also have a larger air cooler on the CPU.
Mine:
K95 RGB / Logitech G502 PS / Alienware AW3418DW / ViewSonic XG2703-GS / Sennheiser HD 598

Lack of backplate on older graphics cards with huge coolers.

~29*C seems to be the average.

Could be 10-20 degrees.
