Which is the best for someone with an $850 budget. Please don't say, "Build a desktop, it is much more powerful and cheaper." I appreciate that, but I can't get a desktop, I have no space in my house. Don't say, "Don't get an Ultrabook for gaming." I like the size and weight of an Ultrabook (and I am helping my friend get a laptop, he is switching from Mac and likes the size.)

How would this one run mainstream games (while recording?)?
Skyrim
BF3
Borderlands (2)
GTA IV
GTA V
Saints Row The Third
Just Cause 2
Portal (2)
TF2
L4D2
ArmA II
ArmA III
DayZ mod for ArmA II/III
How about indie games (while recording?)?
Pretty much a whole lot of indie games.
Are there any better gaming Ultrabooks that fit my budget? That don't?
Lots of benchmarks at the bottom of the page. You're not going to run BF3 with that model, though.
Performance
Due to a clock speed of just 500 MHz, the gaming performance of the GeForce GT 640M LE should be about 20 percent below the 640M. This would be the same level as the GT 635M or the GT 555M. The performance is exceptionally good in shader-heavy DirectX 11 games and benchmarks. However, the 128-Bit memory interface can be a bottleneck if DDR3 graphics memory is used. Demanding games of 2011 like Battlefield 3 will be playable in 1366x768 and medium settings.

I run a laptop at 1366x768 equipped with a GT630M and it does run BF3 on low (I actually haven't tested medium/high, I just put everything to low to be safe). Skyrim runs fine on High and Minecraft at ~70 FPS at max.
Not having enough space for a desktop sounds like a rather flimsy excuse. You might as well say that you simply don't know how.
Why waste 800 dollars on a laptop which can barely run BF3 when you can spend it on building a desktop which could run it on high settings easily and spend the change on a desk and chair for your new computer?
If you insist, then this will be your experience (especially while recording)...
Just replace the Super Mario 64 on a crappy emulator on OSX with Battlefield 3 and the MacBook with the Acer Laming (hehe) Ultrabook. And you won't be hearing those three guys mocking you. But you will be getting lower and lower frames and a fan which will be screaming louder and louder as time goes on.

I have a very small house and have no more room for anything in my house.
Also and why does it matter if he wants a laptop and if he doesn't have he time, skill, ect. to build a desktop or any room to put it how is that to small of a list
I'm not saying that you shouldn't get an ultrabook, they definitely have their advantages, but don't expect to be able to play heavier games on them.
Ultrabooks are small, light and compact, but that also means that all the parts are crammed together. This causes a bad airflow throughout the ultrabook.
Now normally this isn't terrible, but gaming causes a lot of stress on the parts, causing them to get very hot.
Because the heat won't be able to go away, it will result in either a loss of performance or in overheating.
This is why gaming and compact parts don't go well together it may be better to get a Sager laptop or whatever else

Intel has the money to push advertising for them.
