So recently I've been looking at compression methods as I have begun coding a (rather complex) game engine that requires a lot of information to fit within a data budget. So far the smallest I've gotten is bits, by using binary from ASCII characters as sets of boolean information. But I was wondering if it's possible to create an algorithm that can take data, then use it to construct a algorithm that can reconstruct the same data at a later time. If this is possible that would greatly reduce the amount of hard data used (such as 3D models and vast open worlds).
If anybody has ever heard of anything like this please don't be afraid to post!
