First of all, this is a prebuilt system. Please don't tell me to build my own. I have genuinely considered this option, and in the long run, I intend to. But first, I want to take apart an older one we already have and watch some more videos. So this computer is a placeholder that I intend to use for about 2 years. (Hopefully in 2 years I hope I have a real job instead of having too much school to have time for a job. Then I can afford to buy a REAL gaming Pc, not just a budget rig, which is all I can currently afford.)
Things I want to be able to do with this computer:
1. Minecraft on a 64x texture pack WHILE recording with fancy graphics and normal fog distance
2. League of legends on max graphics while streaming and playing music
3. Play Skyrim on at least medium graphics
4. Play MW3 on at least medium graphics
I would like to be able to do all these things with no lag, if possible. If you have alternate suggestions for prebuilt systems, please tell me, but keep in mind that I am on a strict 600 dollar budget. The one I listed is definitely pushing it, so please try to keep suggestions 600 and under.

dude a gforce 9600 512mb will run mw3 (and **** ops) on max 1080p
Looks pretty good. Seems good for the price too, it would be fine with all 4 things you want.
That's got a weaker CPU and GPU than the one linked in the OP...
Alright cool! :biggrin.gif:
What about longevity? This is more of a prebuilt computer question in general, but will it last me the full two years and beyond that?
It will last you maybe 6 months of playing everything on highest, 1.5 years of playing everything on medium, 2.5 years if you can deal with low + shitty FPS.
However, with sequential upgrades, this can last you a very long time.
It's been months since I posted in these forums but let me tell you something about the current gaming. With a PC like that you can run Skyrim on High and MW3 on High settings. Minecraft with x64 texture pack and recording with fraps will fail you. I'm telling you, Minecraft is one of THE most demanding games out there, although people get fooled by the graphics. I have a i7 processor overclocked to 3.9 Ghz, 8GB of DDR3 RAM (1333mhz), and an Nvidia GTX590. PC is a beast, but Fraps and Minecraft don't go together. Believe me. It's more demanding than you think.

Should get the job done

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
Alpha 1.0.4
i am thinking of converting a ps3 personally. it might be a cheap alternative if your tech smart
