Bandicam plays really nicely with MC on Windows. I got it off GiveawayOfTheDay about a year back. If you don't want the logo overlay and don't want to pay for it, camstudio is free, never had problems recording sound with either of these programs.
If you're on linux, GTK-RecordMyDesktop(DesktopRecorder) doesn't like to record output from Pulse. Either set something up with JackD or use Alsa. As for mac, no idea, as i don't own one.
I'd like to say that going with two separate programs recording at the same time in addition to playing MC probably isn't the best choice unless you have like a quad-core and can devote one core to each of the programs, but maybe it's just me.

It's meant to record bugs and send them to windows, but I don't see anything about you can only use it for that purpose.
I don't want a stupid watermark anywho.
