Alright, this year for Christmas, I am going to be upgrading my PC.
I currently have a really crappy computer, dell inspiron 530, and it can't even run Minecraft with a minimum of 15 FPS, (I usually get 5 FPS.)
I usually get a 100-200 bucks for christmas, and I am going to get my parents to get me some other parts.
Anyways, I wanted to know what you guys would suggest for me to upgrade, in a budget of $300.
These are my current specs:
I am trying to get something that can run minecraft at about 30 FPS on normal/short fog, on fancy with smooth lighting, but also so my computer can run it.
If needed, I can also buy other parts to make whatever is needed to have these settings, such as a power supply, or more RAM.
I just found a gaming computer for a reasonable price, Im not sure how good it is though,
AMD Athlon II X2 260 3.2GHz processor (2MB L2 Cache)
4GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory (expandable to 8GB)
500GB SATA hard drive
AMD Radeon HD 6450 Graphics with 1GB video memory
Genuine Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit OS
Alright, I'll talk to my parents and see if we can work anything out, and I don't really care if its not top of the line, just enough so I can run most modern games. Thanks for the help.
