Will a motherboard i have right now work? I don't know how to tell how old it is or anything. I'm just gonna replace everything old in this PC with the new parts.
In this picture the black thing is my fan, i have 2 CD drives (Top left), my 115V power source (top right), i have 2 slots for RAM and in the bottom left i have 2 slots for hard drives, one is already occupied with a 360 GB HD.
This would be my fan.
This would be my Hard drive.
And is this my processor?
And yes, you need (well should use) a special cooler, called the Coolermaster Hyper 212+.
And the GTX580 is overkill, by the way.
You may also want more HDD space in the future.
