edit: What do i need?
Im not sure on what i need to get now. I seem to have everything, but i feel like i dont.
First off, what is your budget? Secondly, what parts do you already have, if any? Third, what do you plan on doing with it? Gaming? Video editing? If it's purely for gaming, a six-core processor is not what you want.
i wouldn't go with the green HDD. they tend to break and have problems more often then the normal ones.
Do you plan to overclock?
you also need a DVD Drive, PSU, and i would suggest anti static wristband
Im building my parts list as well right now
Total: $1204 before taxes, shipping, and rebates. Not including peripherals (monitor, speakers, mouse, etc)
Swap out whatever you want for your own preferences, but this is a good starting point. Will play any games that come out in the next couple years at max settings. Overclocking is amazingly simply since the i5-2500k is unlocked. The GPU can be flashed for 6970 performance at a 6950 price. Also, if you do plan to go with my parts lists and get two HDDs, you'll need an extra SATA cable, because the motherboard I've listed only comes with 2.
K, im not gonna take any chances and try out what you posted.
I know if i try to do it myself i will mess something up :tongue.gif:
Thanks !
Make sure you have enough space for the case. The HAF 922 is huge. If it's too big to fit into your computer area (barely fits in mine), switch it out for a smaller case you like.
The list Memo posted is very good. The only other thing i would add would be an SSD. I wish my mommy would spend 2k on a pc for me :sad.gif:

Budget...
Mummy said she'd pay for it as long as it wasnt 2k, so i guess anything below that is fine.
I current have no 'parts' for it. Im on a laptop right now, and it sucks. :tongue.gif:

Thinking about coming a mod to simply not moderate.
