Alright, though I've never used this board, I need some help.
So my brother just bought a copy of minecraft, but get this:
when on normal view for Infdev, it only runs at about 25 FPS.
So I need advice.
Though I dabble a little in software, I was never a Hardware-Guy.
Could somebody give me a crash course in Hardware?
I'll get the specs of my brother's computer later.
Once I do, I think I can work some thing out.
I also need to get some Optimization Programs.
Probably AusLogics.
25 FPS on normal is fine.
Change the render distance to short to see more than 30 FPS.
Ah yes... But he has stutters, and I don't.
I'd really like for him to able to see the sky without lag :sad.gif:
and I would still like a crash course in Hardware.
There are some graphical options you might be able to change to speed things up a *little* bit. But it depends on what GPU you have. Then there is always the addition of overclocking the CPU/GPU to gain a little more...
Also, IOBit has Game Booster which basically closes down useless processes and stuff to free up resources...
Finally going through MSConfig and disabling lots and lots of startup programs/services.
There isn't much you can really do to drastically speed up a computer without buying a new GPU/CPU or more and faster RAM.

*sigh*
Fine then, I guess there isn't Much I can do.
Also, That RAM site doesn't seem as if it did anything. Are you trying to trick me :| .
