Yes, I love YouTube's HTML5 player. Though it lacks many of the current Flash based video player features (like Annotations and "proper" fullscreen) it remains consistant throughout all videos, is much smoother and best of all lighter on RAM and CPU usage since there is no additional plugins required, it's all based off the browser :biggrin.gif:
Also, a problem specific to me was the issue of fullscreen, my ATi 4890 Radeon HD GPU did NOT like Fullscreen flash and after variably 5-15 seconds of being fullscreen would crash spectacularly. By that I mean, it was the most bizarre and unique crash I've ever seen.

HTML5 video player needs are browser based and requires different video formats depending on the browser support.

Also, what the hell? If your browser doesn't support HTML5 then it's horrible and you shouldn't be using it anyway.
