I am trying to start a small gaming channel. I want a computer that can:
-Run Minecraft client with 50-100 mods @ 20-30+ FPS
-do previous step while running similar Minecraft server at 20-30 FPS with 5-10 people (step may be excluded and a seperate server bought)
-Do both previous steps while running OBS
-At different times, be able to run Terraria, Scrap Mechanic, Roblox, OpenRCT2, and Towns while running OBS at a good framerate (20-30)
-Run Skype/Google Hangouts/Google Allo&Duo calls at the same time
-cost $500-$600
Can a computer fitting these standards be built? Or would I need a bigger budget?
P.S. if you found a working build for this, please sent it via PCPartPicker
You're going to want more then 20/30fps for Youtube. Even basic Youtube supports 30fps, and it can do 60fps if needed. Viewers will notice if its around 20fps.
- note, these builds do not include the price of Windows 10, a monitor, or an optical drive if you need to install Windows 10 this way.
- Windows 10 can range in price from $30-100+, but you can get it for less than that if you know where to look or who to ask.
Well balanced for gaming performance, maximum framerates for the budget, but does not include an SSD. Not sure if that's a big deal to you or not. Should generally serve you well for what you want to do.
Giving up a *significant* chunk of gaming performance in exchange for an SSD. I don't recommend this one, but it's an option if you really need an SSD.
By far the cheapest of the bunch. Would still play games relatively well, but when it comes to heavily modded clients and rendering, this one won't hold up as well.

I like your builds Quanni. Build3's cpu as you mentioned may not be up to scratch for intense modded clients, but I think the GPU is suitable. I'm able to run FTB packs well on my 3570k and 7770.

Build #1 - Recommended

Build #2 - SSD Sacrifice

Build #3 - Ultra-Budget
By far the cheapest of the bunch. Would still play games relatively well, but when it comes to heavily modded clients and rendering, this one won't hold up as well.
