I need help choosing the best desktop computer that fits my needs. Right now I just use a laptop, but I decided I want a desktop, preferably a beefy one that can handle things like rendering graphics and shaders for as cheap as possible. (I heard from a friend that he bought a random computer only for $600 and it ran shaders and recording without any fps lag) The size of the monitor doesn't matter and I don't care if the computer itself looks good or not.
Things I use the computer for:
- Record and stream videos and edit them.
- Play Minecraft with shaders + mods.
- Render and create things using resource intensive programs.
- Host MC servers.
- Watch tons of videos on YouTube.
My budget is around $1,000 more or less is fine.
If you have a recommendation please suggest it and have a good day!

Looking for a server that isn't generic factions, skyblock, etc? Here is a brand new gamemode, no mods!
As much as you may have heard it -- I would consider building your own. Building a PC has plenty of advantages. Most commonly, building is cheaper. Even if you have no great knowledge of computers, it would almost always be best to build. Maybe you have a relative or friend that can help. Building a PC is a really straightforward process. If you would like, I could put a link to a very nice rig that you could build for under $1000 USD.

I know custom building would be a lot cheaper but I don't care about how much it costs. Waiting for the parts to arrive, learning how to build it, and spending days putting it together seems like a waste of time, and I can't "return" it if it isn't good enough for me. Also, that computer is pretty much 100000000x better than my current one.

It literally takes at most 2-3 hours to put together a PC. And that's if it's your first time and you have literally no experience. If you're too impatient to wait 3-4 days, than you can spend another $30 and get next day shipping.
and I can't "return" it if it isn't good enough for me.
Technically you can. Just disassemble it and ship the parts back.

You should really do more research on custom PC building before automatically assuming how it works.
"days putting it together" is extremely false. For most people it'll take between 30 minutes and 3 hours.
Building a PC is extremely easy. It's designed to be easy and intuitive. If you feel it's a daunting task (it isn't) then that's perfectly understandable, but you don't have to try and come up with reasons to avoid it.

Ding ding ding, here's your prize. *crippiling debt*
Alexx's earlier suggestion was pretty decent actually as far as prebuilts go. You're wasting $200-300 on a cool case there Wave.
