Hello everyone, im Nate and me and my cousin are going to build a insane budget pc $280 to be exact, but i was wondering if i can use an HD Texture pack, Record with Action with high quality settings, and have skype and google open with music, and still getting a consistent 100 fps or higher. PC Link: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/mDg2Fd (if you dont wanna open the link its 3.5 ghz, quad core, 8 gb 1866 mhz RAM, 1 tb 7200 RPM, MSI Geforce GT 710 2GB video card, 400 watt psu, and a good motherboard and cooler) THANKS! ~~Nate
Nope. The GT 710 would barely run MC alone, try recording with it and you're gonna have issues.
This build is a bit better, but it still might struggle running so much in the background. 50-60 fps is much more likely. 100 fps is overkill for recording anyways.
Alex, i dont see your logic hear, my processor is 3.5 (yours is 3.3) mine is quad core (yours is dual core) equaling out my processor is better, and the video card you have has 1 gb less memory then mine also, and you have better RAM/ Motherboard, also im probz never going tof upgrade cuz got no money, but the hard drive is the same gbs and RPM.

GHz does NOT equal performance. You can't measure performance by the clock speed since different architectures have different amounts of work done per clock cycle. The clock speed (aka GHz) is completely irrelevant unless you're comparing CPUs in the same exact architecture, and even then there's other factors that come into performance. The Pentium G4400 is MUCH newer, its on a newer chipset, and it has a much better single core performance, which makes up for it's lack of cores.
VRAM has nothing to do with performance. The graphics card you have is pure garbage and won't even use up the 2gb of VRAM it has. A GT 730 1GB (while not that much better) is still going to outperform the GT 710 2GB, since the VRAM won't be a bottleneck anyways.
As for hard drives, Toshiba isn't a very good manufacturer, so spend the extra $3 and get a more reliable hard drive.

Much better CPU for MC since it doesn't use multiple cores, better upgradability, more reliable hard drive, and a better GPU.
