I was watching an Etho vid the other day and was wondering, how does he keep his fps at 30 all the time? It never goes up or down. So I was wondering if there is a way to do this on my computer. I have 4gb of RAM, Intel HD Graphics, and an Intel Pentium G640 @ 2.80 GHz (yes I know I have a pretty crappy computer). I can almost always run Minecraft at 30+ fps unless I am on a huge map like the Cube SMP or I am on really high settings. Hopefully someone knows how to do this!
In Optifine I turned on smooth fps and V-sync, but since my moniter is 60 whatever-it-is, it goes up. EDIT: I figured it out! I have to turn the max fps to 30, turn on v-sync, and turn on smooth fps. Then it is sorta locked.

You activate Vsync. It locks the framerate.

Likely done through FRAPS.
"Programmers never repeat themselves. They loop."
Maybe it's for the cinematic experience.
I'm back
Why would you want to. Higher FPS is better... :/
