This screenshot is a few weeks old, and I have since upgraded to Windows 8.1. Other than that, everything is the same. I got a few questions here: Yeah, I have a crappy CPU, and will the graphics card be able to work with it? How many fps should it give me? Will I be able to run shaders (the nice looking ones) ? Is it "compatible" with my computer? One last question: Minecraft is always "not responding" and all that crap. My computer also freezes sometimes. Overall pretty slow. Will the graphics card fix this?
Sorry for all the questions.. I don't know too much about this stuff. Hopefully someone can answer them!
I suggest you do a whole system rebuild that CPU is older then time itself and that motherboard too; if you can get around 600 dollars you can do a whole system rebuild..
Unfortunately the only thing I know how to do is put in a graphics card. With the CPU, I would just look up tutorials on it.. but something could go wrong you know? I don't want that to happen cause then my whole computer would be screwed up and unfixable by me. And don't you also have to apply some sort of sticky paste that is really fussy and sensitive?
So on the page, it says the card is compatible with a PCI Express 3.0. First of all, I have no idea what that is... and second, how do I see if my computer has this or not?

Open you computer's side panel off, and look for a long slotted rectangle, google PCIe 16 slot. PCI Express has many differnet versions. Yours is properly pcie 2.0, but 3.0 is backwards companionable with 2.0.
If you want, send a pic of the inside of your computer.
As stated, you computer is not very good. You would need a whole system upgrade basily. You could put that off though. A gtx 750 ti is a great card for causal games, and even high end games at low settings.
I would recommend learning more about computer before you attempt this. Their are a lot of stuff, but will help. There are a lot of variables for just installing a simple GPU. Case height, available slots, wattage, etc. NewEgg and Pauls Harware (or any pc youtuber), have great videos on how to build a pc.
Hey guys,
I've been thinking for a while now that I should really get a new graphics card. As of the moment, I have Intel HD Integrated Graphics. Crap. I can pull about 90 fps on low settings... So here is the card I'm thinking of: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/evga-geforce-gtx-750-ti-graphic-card-1-18-ghz-core-2-gb-gddr5-sdram-pci-express-3-0-x16/5354014.p?id=1219120768922&skuId=5354014 . First of all, is this compatible with my computer? I don't have a "slim case", and here are my specs:
