To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what you mean? As in, connect to your school Microsoft/live/whateveritis account?
I think he is saying he has a Microsoft account from school, like one issued from the school.
He is asking if logging in with that account will "infect" or turn his computer into a student computer. I believe it limits some features.
As far as I know personally, I believe it is only on that account and logging on with another will be different. BUT I'd rather wait for someone more experianced with Windows to get on this.
If you want to log into your school's email or whatever it's probably safe. If you're really scared use your school computer to check your stuff tomorrow, if you have one, or if not use the computers in the library. If that's not it then I don't know what you mean.
But as a general rule, always be wary of school-issued electronics and school networks. Most schools log your keystrokes and can see your screen even when you're at home, not connected to the internet. It's probably illegal for them to tamper with your personal home computer (if you connected them somehow, if that's what you're asking?) when you're not in the school but I would not ever trust them.
I am on Windows 10, if I connect my windows 8 school account, will it even work and if it works will it "infect" my whole PC, not just that account?
