Hey guys,I'm planning to build a gaming PC this summer and was wondering if any of you had suggestions. I'm trying to keep the build under 800 and if you guys could use Canada computers to find parts that would be great because I live not to far from one. I was thinking of using the amd fx 6300 for a processor and a optical drive is not necessary because I have an external one.
Thx guys
Oh, and for games I will be playing a wide variety I'm hoping you guys can squeeze a decent GPU into the build. I know its a low budget but I think its enough for an average PC.
This build might suit you (comes right around the $800 budget without OS, Optical Drives, and Monitors), but I prefer using Intel CPU instead of AMD. It really depends on what games you will be playing.

You can try to modify things around on the parts list to get the ideal machine you want.
Intel Core2 Duo @2.8GHz
Dell Latitude D620 Case and Motherboard
USB Graphics Card soldered to 2USBs, takes up the CD drive bay with an additional fan
4GB of RAM
80GB HDD
1280x800 mercury tube LCD
8 hour battery.
That toaster looks flimsy
good thing I don't own it anymore.
