1. So my friend told me that the speed on your computer depends on how much RAM you have. But then someone else said it depends on the graphics card/processor. Which is true...?

Well to be honest, I don't think I have a graphics card at the moment. My Minecraft is pretty slow and runs at 30-40 fps. But even if I did have one, I would have no idea how to check what it was..
You will have a graphics card, it will most likely be integrated with your CPU. if you didn't have a graphics card your computer wouldn't run, as it wouldn't be capable of displaying anything.

I literally have no idea what exact model it is.. but I think it's a HP Pavilion p-series desktop.
Just checking. There are some slim style case's that will only allow short graphics cards. The best graphics card you probably could go for is the 750ti or 950 ti, both about the same in preformace. You could get a stronger one, but their might be power issues and connector issues.
But then if I "replaced" the graphics card, it would basically be like adding a new one, because I have one that is integrated into my CPU.
You're not replacing anything, you're adding a new GPU. The computer will used the GPU you add instead of the old one.
Also honestly, I wouldn't spend the money on a 750 Ti, since the rest of your PC is pretty weak. You can spend around $50 and get a GT 740 which will let you run MC at pretty good settings at 60 fps
Oh, so if I used the GPU I mentioned, my computer wouldn't be able to handle it?
Might not, its more of having an even system. You could get the best graphics card in the world and still get bad FPS, if you have a bad possessor. If you are just doing Minecraft and other light games, a 740 should be fine.

The screenshot you posted shows you have a Pentium G640.
I wouldn't spend $150 on the 750 Ti since you're CPU will slow it down anyways. You can get a GT 730 for around $50 and a GT 740 for $70. They'll both run MC fine with your current PC

2. I was looking into graphics cards to speed up my computer, and I found this one: http://www.amazon.com/Zotac-NVIDIA-GeForce-PCI-Express-ZT-70601-10M/dp/B00IFZ547Q/ref=sr_1_1/182-3806470-3500934?ie=UTF8&qid=1437447709&sr=8-1 (sorry for the long link XD) The question is: by how much will this increase my fps on Minecraft, if any?

1. RAM does NOT "speed up" your computer. As long as you have enough to run, extra ain't helping.
2. There are better cards for the price, but it's hard to say what will help and not help when we don't know what you currently have.

As I expected, you do have a graphics chip but it's integrated into your CPU.

So if I wanted to replace the graphics card.. I would have to replace the whole CPU? Sounds like this could get complicated.
>> Implying I have a signature
Nope. Just make sure you don't have one of those "slim" cases and you have an available PCIE slot on your motherboard.

Yes, you would be adding it. You could still use your old graphics card that is built onto the CPU, if your really wanted to.
