I'll think so. This proves that Macs are kinda overpriced.

Yes it should be good but do you really need OS X? and also MicroATX? it just means less space for upgrades and OS X looks pretty gross in my opinion like you can get Linux because its looks basically the same but free

i saw a video to install OS X and the apps needed is free, but i'm sure that theres no way to install Yosemite on a Hackintosh since its a beta, maybe if you were quick, you could join the yosemite beta program before you sold the mac it and reaches the 1Mil mark, but i think you need to wait till it releases, maybe a day before the iPhone 6 and the Plus iOS 8 and Yosemite OS X would be released
You should get a better motherboard and perhaps a 760 instead of the 280X as cards made by Nvidia tend to be a slightly less wonky with OS X than AMD's. You're also over the budget by about $50.
I'm buying the gpu off a used PC Parts store near me, and the 760s there are $225, while the 280X is $185, and the 280X is quite a bit faster.
I would go Nvidia but AMD is much cheaper.

Personally I just like OS X, I like the feel and smoothness of it, and it just appeals to me. Also OS X is free. I'm looking to get a smaller MicroATX case since my current case is way too big, and I'm not gonna do SLI or have more than 2 drives or anything
