I am looking to purchase a wireless internet adapter for my gaming PC. The house I will be moving into soon will not allow me to use a wired connection (unfortunately), so I will need to connect to the wi-fi network via an adapter.
I would not like to spend more than $75 on this adapter because I may not be spending much time in this house. I like the sounds of a USB adapter, too. I'm just looking for the highest quality, fastest adapter out there on the market that fits my budget. Thank you for your help!
A USB adapter will generally perform as great as a PCI-E one, except you can place this at the top of the case for even more network connectivity. Pretty much any one at your local bestbuy should be fine, but I would go for a USB 3.0 one.

USB 2.0 won't bottleneck most internet connections and USB adapters are far worse.
Don't know, don't post.
OP, just get the cheapest PCI-E adapter you can find, such as this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006AB1TXU/?tag=pcpapi-20
So, after doing some research, I found that I'll probably prefer a USB adapter for ease of installation and mobility... I'll be moving out of the aforementioned house probably after a few months, and I feel like a USB adapter would be better to have in case I needed it for the future house I'll be moving into. (Hopefully I won't need it, I hope to have the modem and router wherever my computer is).

Again, why can't you move a PCI-E adapter? I feel like this is an excuse because you're too lazy to take the side of your computer and plug something in.
PCI-E adapters are only slightly harder to install and actually more portable because you don't have a giant thing sticking outside of your case.

That's a total ripoff.
Get a PCI-E adapter. If you're not going to listen to advice then don't make a thread.
I am doing my best to listen to advice, it's just that I don't want to blindly follow someone's advice without getting others' opinions. If you want people to listen to you, don't be so harsh.
Anyway, I am open to PCI-E adapters, and I'm completely fine with installing it... I built my machine myself. It's just that lots of my research has yielded a bunch of stuff about USB being good enough and easier to use.
I am willing to spend more than $9.99, though, for better performance. Thanks.

No it won't.
Having it a few inches higher won't make a difference at all.

That is what I found to be best in my research, it seems to have all of the required specifications and its works for my budget. Thoughts?

Unless you have Google Fiber there won't be a difference between a $10 adapter and a $100 one.
