I have seena lot of people who want Minecon to be in England. But that's dumb, because Minecon 2012 was in Paris. I mean, you guys are neighbors. Now look at the USA. Probably the nerdiest, fattest, laziest country there is, but it is big andhas probably the most Minecraft supporters. Europe's countries are like our states. So we've had a Minecon in Florida. I live in Minesota, whiich is across the country. I can't get to Florida!
That's why I think a Minecon should be in Northern USA/Southern Canada. That is a lot of people that like Minecraft.
Thanks for listening to me.
Did you post this while you were intoxicated or something?

I don't think it's "dumb". I think it should be held at least ONCE in England. I really hope they do expand to other places around the globe that is feasible to run Minecon. Minnesota ain't nothing, I met at least two separate people that came driving down from Canada at this year's Minecon. One those couples/family DID NOT have tickets and said they where hoping for a chance that someone would be willing to sell their tickets at the door. I met with a few Brits too and the guy who won first place in the building contest was guess what? A British person... I don't think you should count out England to not have a chance at hosting a future Minecon.
I think they have a setup for the cons that I've been noticing. For starters, they try to set the cons where there is some major attraction, ie Disneyland and Islands of Adventure. Secondly, they seem to be following a pattern in location, ever since the unofficial MineCraftCon in 2010. They might be doing a pattern in which North/South America are one variable and Europe, Australia, Africa, and Asia are another. Judging by the positioning of the cons, it seems that Minecons might be in the US every odd numbered year the other continents would be every even numbered year. And for positioning, just look up major cities on the globe with some form of a large attraction (theme parks, maybe). But that's beside the point
Now, I'm no good at math, but the travel time from Paris to London is about 6-7 hours. Mind you, that can be even longer for someone who stops to eat, drink, and etc. For some people, that's a lot of time wasted on the road, yet too close to justify flying. But like I said, it seems they're hitting major cities, so London might not be out of the question.

But one or two people that fly across the world for Minecon? Thats a tiny amount, and it is too far for me. Maybe put it up in Canada somewhere.
England and France are like two American states, so don't act like people in England can't travel to France on vacation. Minnesota, on the other hand, is 26 hours away, and flying time is 3 hours, but is too expensive for a two-day event. That's my argument.
Well, don't act like people can't drive from Minnesota to Florida and make it a vacation. To others, you're right, it might not be, but then realize for a short moment that it could be the same in England. Gas might be too expensive for a family, piled together with pit stops, food, etc. but remember this, Superintendent. If it IS in England, you have Minecon 2015 to look forward to. If my theory is correct, it might be closer to home than you really think.
