Simple question, are there any mods that I can use on a minecraft realm? Something like reverb or minimap mods that just affect me, not other players or really the world.
1.I always think of Vanilla mods as either Datapacks or if not on that side of things mods like Optifine or Bounding Box Outline Reloaded that are installed onto Vanilla rather than needing Forge/Fabric to work (meaning they have that option to be installed to Vanilla but can still work on Forge/Fabric but don't have to be used by those modloaders strictly like 99% of mods do).
2.I also always thought that Realms only worked with Resource Packs and Datapacks in worlds but not mods, Mojang supports Resource Packs and Datapacks but they don't mods as they are particular fan creations and are too out of Mojang's control or they simply don't care to support them in some way (besides that one mod support thing that added but that could have been for Datapacks for all I know). Either way while I don't have Realms experience at all I was sure mods didn't work on Realms, while the others they do as they have specific buttons, update aspects of them and have control over the core code of them, can't say for mods that use Datapacks, or Datapacks even being used Globally with mods either besides those part of the worldnamehere/datapacks folder where it isn't global. But either way I don't know if modloaders like Forge and Fabric can be supported on Realms or not due to how they are Mojang's Official Server environments and are supposed to be Vanilla and not modified.
