I am playing FTB Academy and was wondering if anyone has a room setup.
Room size, where to place the machines, where to run the pipes, etc.
I don't usually delve into Thermal as I usually use EnderIO but this mod pack doesn't have EnderIO.
Pics or Diagram would be nice as well, thanks
I tried watching vids, especially Direwolf20 but no one touches all the machines and if they do, they don't ever set them up in a room and it's almost always just a review of the mod.

Thermal Expansion is one of the better tech mods. Its easy to setup and run.
1. First, you'll need power. Make a Dynamo.
2. Make a few energy ducts to transfer the power.
3. The first two machines to make are the Pulverizor and the Redstone Furnace. You can place one next to the other. You can configure the side outputs on the machine's interface window. This allows ore doubling.
4, You can also make an Energy Cell to store power.
5. Once you have enough mats, you can make the machine upgrades to increase the capabilities of the machines.
6. Another machine to make is the Induction Smelter. This allows you to make alloys, like bronze and invar.
As far as a room goes, that is up to you. The machines can easily be placed in a line for easy operation.

Hope this helps.
