Me and a group of friends want to play Minecraft (Building a town, going on advantures and Roleplay). But we didn't want to play the Vanilla version of MC. So we were looking for a modpack and found one called Vallhelsia 3. BUT there was a problem. Its demanding a lot, we have some players that have max 4gb ram Laptop, so a lot of modpacks are just too much to handle. So that's why we are looking for a lite modpack that gives nice new stuff to the gameplay. We loved the "Life in the Woods" but its sadly really outdated.
The question is; If you can recommend us a good modpack. Nothing to big or to heavy. We like to go on advantures and we love to make a small town and trade, harvest food and so on. We loved that there were a lot of different food options (Like in Life in the woods) and we loved this Biomes o Plenty.
I wanted to make my own one but sadly I have zero knowledge how to make one. Even if I did, idk how to use on Servers and how to find the right mods for the pack.
I'd say start with some Vanilla+ packs as they can be small and are good to ease into modded.
Otherwise try and find ones with a mix of what your after. As your into towns and trading Minecolonies (the mod) might be a good idea and Biomes O' Plenty is a good classic biome mod.
If you want to make your own just use the Curseforge launcher and select mods.
If you want I could make one for you, I'm in the mood for making modpacks currently and could add a few you have pointed out. I make many packs on the lightweight but filled with different types of content types as my PC can only do so much and I tried to aim for 1-2GB range needed to run packs even though I have 8GB of RAM as I like the smaller size, and 100s of mods that I may not use seems like a waste are all.

Wow, that would be really nice if you could make one for me
Well I'm also not looking for something big, like you said, something lightweight. I was thinking that he most important one is "Chisel" mod, then of course some biomes o'plenty. I was also thinking a mod that adds more "farming" stuff and more food. Idk how the mod is called, maybe you know it. Some basic new blocks and the cotton stuff so I can make wool out of cotton, and this Minecolonies sounds nice. What else? Well i dont know, whats so popular and adds some content without being to heavy
Many popular mods can require a fair amount to run so I'll do what I can and have a few more in mind I could add but I'm trying to keep the mod list low. There is probably a fair amount more I can do with it but I just went with a few farming, Minecolonies, Biomes O' Plenty and a few that add good building blocks.
I have the following shown in the screenshot. Just look around a bit

Wow, thank you. I really like it. I googeled the mods and they give a nice vanilla+ stuff And I get it, its maybe hard to make a modpack that is good for low-spec laptops. I really don't know how to thank you more
Eddit:
I also wanted to ask where should I download them? And for which version of MC are they?
I was just wondering what you thought and if there should be more added first but if that's enough I'll get the pack ready for downloading and installing now. If you want to expand/remove mods from the pack even after you set it up, go for it. Just wanted to give you a pack to start with.
The modpack is using Minecraft 1.16.4 and I'm pretty sure the latest Forge as of now for 1.16.4 '35.1.36'
There isn't any performance mods like Optifine, Sodium and others so it will be just a standard pack for now just to see how things go, but add those if you need to for better performance to run the game.
The only other thing I added since was a mod to remove the 'experiment settings warning' as it can be annoying for mods that add certain features/use datapacks and on loading the world often it can be really annoying to see it so that's removed for quicker world loading and not an obstacle all the time.
You can access the modpack via Google Drive here for now ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1egDLAmeUIWzcV12QVTBttkifh8XhEzm9/view?usp=sharing ), but I'll also post it on Curseforge (will take a while to be approved). Just make sure to have the Curseforge launcher or MultiMC to import the modpack. If you need help with those let me know.

Greetings to you all.
Best to look at the lightweight category of modpacks not just the popular modpacks either as they are big demanding packs. You can find some here: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/small-light?filter-sort=2
