The mods I installed for minecraft are not working. I have forge already and it is the correct version. The mods are just not appearing. I am getting annoyed. Please help.
Does the Forge profile show up properly, if not create a new one and select it (if 1.12.2 they will appear below Release 1.0, if 1.13+ Forge they appear between 1.13 and 1.14 versions as well as in-between snapshots if you have those enabled).
Do they all support the same version? 1.14.2 and 1.14.4 don't offer the same support, but many for 1.14.3 will work for 1.14.4 from my experience, same with Fabric mods.
Do you have Fabric mods in your mods folder, best to check as there is more than 300 Fabric mods and probably about that or less Forge mods as Fabric was built from scratch around the earliest of 1.14 snapshots (December 2018 and still going) before Forge was ported to 1.13.2 so you'll need to know which mods supports what, if you don't know which support what modloader, check the categories on curseforge for 'Fabric', the 'game version' has a modloader feature now which you can check that if you want (it's new so not all mod devs will have enabled that yet compared to the category of Fabric) or my Fabric thread in my signature below.
Otherwise if there is anything else like different versions of mods you'll need to be careful of that as 1.12.2 or 1.14.4 aren't compatible or the same version, neither is 1.14 and 1.14.4 or 1.14.2 and 1.14.4 like I said above. If you want to use those mods from a different version then put them in a 1.12.2 folder and load 1.12.2 Forge. When it comes to 1.13+ versions of Forge however the reading from a deeper folder feature has since been removed, and it only works for 1.12.2 and below versions of Forge sadly. Fabric and Rift (a 1.13/1.13.2 modloader before Forge 1.13 that same about June 2018) don't have this feature either.

1. Does the Profile use Forge?
2. Did you install the mods into the mods folder for that Profile?
3. Are the mods the same version as MC / Forge (double check)?

Did you install Java?
Did you download Forge from the Official site?
