Can we have a client+server mod that whenever a player with the client mod joins a server (with the same mod), it downloads the minecraft.jar file from the server?
OR READ THE BELOW SECTION for something probably easier to code, but not as good.
Basically, I want a SERVER+CLIENT mod. All it does is this;
I install the server mod. Now no player can join without installing the client mod.
Simple as that.
Why? I can use this to host the client somewhere so my players download that. What does this do? Prevent's them using things like Zombe's flying mod. This FORCES a consistency between client files on my server.
If possible, make it use a serial code or something (hidden inside the files, don't have to type it in anywhere) so if players are found to mod the new client file, I can change the serial requirement and they have to download it again.
