i been wanting new armor and tools since 1.16 after netherite came out that only exists in the end and you need a special bench like an end bench which you get form end stone the same as you craft a crafting table and to craft the new tier of armor and tools it's in this super rare biome in the end islands where the end ships are it's this new ore called nether end combination of nether and end you have to have the end bench it's called to craft it like i said before
I don't know about it tbh, netherite is already durable enough and adding more durable materials is likely going to become broken.
Enderite would be nice though don't get me wrong, if it is to be added it should be a rare non renewable item only, and if players want it to last forever then they should be forced to use mending as well as being extremely careful not to lose it.

yeah netherite is durable enough but it will break still easily when people do big projects.
Nice name. mending is a pretty good enchant for it but no one will just drop it into the void or did in lave or fall off the map would they and i was taking about really rare to find and once you find it you know when you find it btw.

Thanks, I used this username because well I like battling zombies in video games, and AGT is an abbreviation for agent. your username is cool too.
Anyway on topic of the discussion, I completely see where you're coming from with the big projects thing, but in survival gameplay aren't these things generally end game? if that's the case then it makes sense to add a rare loot type found in End cities that is double the durability of netherite.
However, they should be strictly for the purposes of building, not combat imo.
So in my opinion no Enderite sword.
and all the Enderite tools while having much lower attack power than the other tools,
they would have vastly more durability than netherite variants.
Pickaxe, regular Axe and Shovel.
This would give players the freedom they crave to do extremely large builds after they've done everything else in the game,

don't forget about the hoe though those are the best everybody uses the hoe
Edit: the sword who cares about that the axe is better a stone axe is as good as a diamond sword but if you want the full set then you will need the sword and all the other items

Yup, I made a netherite hoe on my current world which just needs mending and then it's gonna be the one I main with for crop harvesting. xD
I'm glad there are people like you who are putting it out there that there needs to be better rewards in End, it's true and it is a popular opinion.
Having more durable tools that reduce the need to grind later in the game would be welcomed.
Diamond tools aren't that great, and I've found they get destroyed very fast especially without Unbreaking III enchantment. It's one of the reasons why I came to appreciate the addition of Netherite which I now have on my Hoe, Fortune Pickaxe and regular Axe.
and Iron is even worse, they're not worth using once you've got a decent supply of diamond/netherite tools with mending on them, despite the endless complaints about iron golem farms. Their hilariously low durability makes them impractical for big projects in my opinion.

iron farms are practically useless now iron tools break easily and it should be the first armor you get and also the tools and people might run out of their netherite hoe or other tools making big projects and might even use up at last all of their tools like 10 times for projects that i want to build

I agree, I don't even bother with iron golem farms anymore and I don't have one on my current MC world, because I have superior materials on my tools and so there's enough iron to be mined underground for everything else.
I've seen a thread about people mentioning how useless wooden tools are in end game, but nobody seemed to mention that it is the exact same thing with iron when you've got chests full of diamond and netherrite tools with all the enchantments on them.
and it doesn't help that irons durability is awful and barely lasts longer than stone, I know they're the third strongest material now but the point is I have no use for them anymore and have zero intention on crafting more now that I have diamond and netherite gear on me.
Even if I was to make a lower grade material temporarily to prevent my best gear from being destroyed after needing repairs, I would opt to use stone purely because of how much more common it is than iron and it works well enough on shoveling dirt and sand that you can level out terrain efficiently and without too much time wasted.

iron is like that because of how much you can find before you find diamonds

I know, but I'm glad I'm not the only one here who thinks iron tool durability is laughable. Iron tools in real life if refined into stainless steel would last you years. In what context was it acceptable to make iron tools break in less than a full day and night cycle which is 20 minutes?
I'm not an engineer or physicist but it doesn't take one to know that iron shouldn't be anywhere near this weak.
I know it was done for the sake of challenge and difficulty, but the way this was done is quite questionable imo.

iron should be buffed but it hasn't been buffed in years so it might not get buffed
iron should be buffed but it hasn't been buffed in years so it might not get buffed
but with suggestions to make diamond ore rarer and forced on everyone, that stands to make the game even more grindy than it already is. If iron doesn't receive any kind of buff to make up for it then it's going to cause a lot of complaints, and probably a lot of people to stop playing the game.
