I’m new to the whole scoreboard thing and I’ve heard that there is a way to have a Redstone activate once a timer on the scoreboard reaches a specific number and I can’t seem to figure out how to do it. I’ve got everything working except testing for when the desired time is reached and to output a signal when it is.
Does the direction of the arrows on the side of the blocks matter, do I need to put in any commands into the other two, and where do I place a comparator?
Don't use comparators. They are way too finicky and they are not consistent
Yes they do. The arrows of the previous block has to be facing the next block in the chain. For your conditional chain command block. The repeating command block has to be pointing towards it and the command blocks have to both be facing the same way

Easy
Do your scoreboard test function.
Then put that in a repeating command block.
Put a Chain command block on top of it set to "conditional"
Then put in your desired command
