Hello, finally dived into this world and am fully enthralled by it !
Have searched the forum and it seems like what i'm trying to do is no longer possible (THEwiki says tileData etc removed?), but thought i'd confirm it.
What is the proper syntax for using the destroy parameter (instead of the default replace) ?
For air its nothing. Its more useful for different colors of glass, stone, stair directions, button directions. You can find it on the wiki but I usually just play with it until I find the block I want

Using the following in a command_block;
/fill 123 4 -567 125 6 -565 air destroy
gives me an error on the "destroy" word.
Thanks.
/fill 123 4 -567 125 6 -565 air 0 destroy[/i]
You didn't have the 0 between air and destroy[/i]
ahh, okay - thanks
so that's the <tileData: int> on this page;
Commands/fill – Official Minecraft Wiki
but what are the values 0-15 for - i can't seem to find the info for them.

ahh i see, for those that have several positions when being displayed - and not to be confused with block state.
so the values 0-15(inclusive) depend on the different blocks.
Thanks for your responses - much appreciated.
