So I'm trying to figure out how to make a gambling game based on whether an egg produces a baby chicken, a regular chicken or nothing but I'm not great at redstone and I'm not sure exactly what tutorials I should be looking for to help. I know what I need to happen but am not sure of the name of each type of circuit so if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it. As far as I've figured out I need:
A system which dispenses an egg for each input recieved (e.g. 1 diamond dispenses 1 egg), along with a similar circuit which dispenses different amounts depending on the input (30 diamonds for full grown chicken, 6 for baby)
A system which differentiates between the 2 types of chicken
As far as the 2 types of chicken go, I figure I could kill the full grown chicken with a lava blade so I have dropped items and a baby chicken, then some sort of pressure plate/hopper combination to identify which of the two the egg has produced.
