I am having a hard time trying to build a sewer system in my world due to the water glitching. I will need several command blocks to complete the system but can not even get just two water streams to work together for long without the water spazzing. Any explanation as to why the water is doing this and if there is any way I can fix it to have it stop would be amazing. I am on a Xbox One, Bedrock edition. I also have a video showing what my issue is because it is hard to picture.
Well I believe that minecraft:flowing_water is an updating block. Meaning, if you fill an area with it, it will update and since it is at level=7, it will disappear right away and then reappear due to the command being run continuously from the command block. Perhaps if you used minecraft:water instead, it might not update and stay stationary at level=7. I am not sure though. I mainly play Java edition so I am trying my best with the little knowledge I transferred between versions. Let me know if this helps at all!
Thank you for the help but sadly switching minecraft:flowing_water to minecraft:water does not work. It glitches out worse. I got the idea for the water command from this video, in the video the creator does not seem to be having the issue I am. I have reached out to the creator but have yet to hear back from him. Also, I was experimenting around and switched the minecraft:flowing_water to 6 instead of 7. That allowed me to activate more of the repeating command blocks before the whole flowing water block disappeared, but the amount I can activate still is not enough. (Adding this as a side note) It seems to have something to do with the tick speed of the command block. With the new bedrock update I can put a delay in the ticks of whatever command I put in the block. Is there perhaps any way to speed up the ticks faster than 0?
