Some may already know this but, I am recreating the Call of Duty Zombies map Nacht Der Untoten on Bedrock and I want to use /playsound, but I have a few questions about it:
1. How does one use it?
2. Can I play a downloaded audio file with /playsound?
3. Can I replace a current in game sound with a audio file using /playsound?
I don't know about using custom audio files in Bedrock. By the sound of it from https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands/playsoundyou might be able load audio files as an event in a resource pack under sounds.json but I have not messed with that and would not be the greatest resource.
It isn't as guiding as some other commands
/playsound <sound: string> [player: target] [position: x y z] [volume: float] [pitch: float] [minimumVolume: float]

under <sound:string> there is a list of strings you can play found on https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Sounds.json#Bedrock_Edition_values
Scroll to where you see show bedrock strings as shown in the picture below.
An example of using this command would be
/playsound block.itemframe.place @a ~~~ 1 1 1
Ok i will try this when i get an chance.
