This restored realm is in Minecraft Java (I finally got optifine and can play again, yaaaayyyss!). The world is set to hard difficulty as I build a new empire from scratch in Vanilla. That's it. Mobgriefing is true, so expect creepers to wreck your homes and Endermen to ruin your gardens if you aren't careful. Keepitems is off, so if you die your stuff will likely be looted by zombies.
The world is in a badlands/mesa biome, the worldspawn is in its original place, but may be moved shortly. I am setting up a base near the origin to help new players joining, but haven't decided where I want my Kingdom yet. World rules are the following:
1) Play nice (polite language, no obscenities, stuff you learned in Kindergarden . . . you get the idea)
2) Respect other player's property and ask before building if it looks like someone has started building there (squatter's rights)
3) Gamemode is survival
4) Cooperation is recommended, the mobs may be getting more dangerous as time progresses, or as you level up.
5) The scoreboard periodically, and briefly displays how many Minecraft days you have played, to help with tracking who has been on if any sort of mischief has been going on. It will also periodically display how many times players have died, so that we can all get a good laugh at someone else's misfortune before offering our help to them
6) Pvp is enabled, but requires some work to enable.
An alignment system is only going to be used to keep track of griefers this time (no special status effects), and monitor which players pose a threat to order. By default, all players will begin with a neutral alignment of 50 and on the same team (lawful, team color blue) with friendly fire disabled. Killing villagers neutral/lawful players will lower your alignment to Chaotic (Alignment 0 to 33, chaotic team color is red). Killing Pillagers, Vindicators, Ravagers, Evokers, or other chaotic players is the only way to raise your alignment to Neutral/Lawful (34-100). That being said, it is much easier to lower your alignment than it is to raise it. If your alignment falls below 34, then you lose the emperor's protection (mine), and you must fend for yourself against everyone and everything. I might also send bounty hunters after you or exile you to some obscure part of the world upon your death until you get your act together, depends on what kind of mood I'm in.
Killing a villager = -5 alignment
Killing a neutral or lawful player = -10 alignment
Killing a chaotic player = +10 alignment
Killing a Pillager, Vindicator, Ravager, or Evoker = +1 alignment
There will be no status effects related to alignment this time. I may make some alignment items for sale eventually that give you a bonus (e.g., if you meet the alignment requirements), but for now, It's just here so you know who you can trust in the world, and who you shouldn't.
7) I may implement other things as well, such as spell books and a mana system, but I am going to be careful not to overwhelm the realm with command blocks for people to claim plots of land like the last world.
Again, it is a Minecraft Java Realm. If you would like to join, please leave your
in game name and tell me a little bit about yourself and how you like to play.
