Im,having issues trying to make the afk fish farm on windows 10, bedrock edition minecraft
I built it block by block on YouTube videos, and yet it never works, my fishing rod just falls down, while im still pressing the note block.. It doesn't catch it at all just a weird person swinging his fishing rod for no reason
I'm using version 1.14.1
And no matter what i try it doesn't work need help ..
(I tried both on a realm and on my own personal world and nothing)
I've tried so many times, no matter what i do never works
In case ur wonder which build
Its the one with a note block, heavy pressure plate, iron trap door, fence, then water in the fence, going into hopper then chest ..
Pls help anyone if they can
Or it it's fixed and won't ever work then it is what it is.
I can also vouch for the Silent AFK farm design for Bedrock:
I use it with the autoclicker he recommends and it works great. I changed it to be able to feed stacked chests as I'll leave it running for multiple hours.
Do you pull the rod in without a fish or you just never catch a fish? If you never catch fish make sure the water source blocks can see the sky, it must rain on top of the water when its raining. If you pull the bobber in without a fish then the timing of your clicks is incorrect or you are not aiming quite right. The timing part is critical, if you click too fast it will never work correctly.
I tried the version as in the video above. It works perfectly now. Built a large Egyptian pyramid with two blocks open to air and the AFK fishing inside. I left it clicking for three hours. When I came back, the inventory of the hopper was open on the screen, which indicates that I was knocked back a block somehow. The chest was full of useful loot. I think something knocked me back and I strongly suspect a Phantom. So if it has to be open to air, how do you AFK without the Phantoms whacking you? I only had a two block tunnel open to air for about 9 blocks.
I suspect your desk got bumped and the mouse moved a tad. I've never had a phantasm come through the two block hole above my water. If it did, I doubt it would ever get out.
I only have the two blocks that the water is in open to sky and I stand a block away from the hopper with a solid block above my head to keep the phantoms from spawning.
Edit: I flip my mouse over when i afk cause I have pets, and all it takes is a little bump to knock the aim off.

I think that is an old fishing farm.that one is brocken.
The trap door style farms like silent whisperer's still work, I fished all night.

I have exactly the same problem. Mine is built with an Iron door and a tripwire system. No fish.

Not much of an AFK fish farm if you still have to press the button to bring the lure in. I don't think Bedrock has a truly AFK fish farm.

If ur on pc you can use third party clicker programs to make it truly afk, pocket and console dont have that luxury.
There is Autoclicker on pocket, thats what i use, start the world on xbox, join my account from pocket edition via LAN and keep it all day fishing
I can’t get the red stone and trapdoor portion to work. Did you have any issues? I followed his vid exactly except I didn’t use quartz blocks
What block exactly did you use?
