I followed some instructions and added the downloaded folder to "minecraft worlds" - the location where my other world is stored, however I cannot load the world in Minecraft.
Looking at the folders, my downloaded data contains a folder full of MCA files, a level.dat file and a session.lock file.
Wheras the world created in the Minecraft game has a "Microsoft Access Record Locking Information" file which contains most of the data.
The recreation of Denmark in Minecraft was done in 2014, and I hope the data is still useable in the game.
Can anyone help me load my downloaded world into Minecraft? Thanks.
Hi everyone, I am using Minecraft (windows 10 edition) as a research method for my thesis on an urban planning project in Copenhagen.
I downloaded a real world recreation of the site in Minecraft from https://download.kortforsyningen.dk/content/danmarks-frie-geodata-i-minecraftverden - and I am trying to load it in the game

You need an .mcworld file to open it in Minecraft
Almost all world downloads you will find are for java edition. These will not work for bedrock edition
