I own the Realm some buddies and I are playing on. We’ve already beat the End, and are just generally goofing off now. I want to build an underground bunker, complete with a “Do Not Enter” section that’s basically just a massive mob spawner/XP farm. Naturally that means I’d have to place the blocks in creative, but there are still some achievements we’re trying to get.
To add more detail to my question... if I were to download my realm, switch the copy to creative and build my bunker how I want it, then switch it back to survival and import the updated copy as the “New Realm,” will that disable achievements on it permanently? In theory the actual realm should never be in Creative mode, just the downloaded copy.
Enable command blocks for you and build two a few blocks apart with buttons on them.
Use
/gamemode 0 @p
To switch them to creative, and
/gamemode 1 @p
to switch them to survival.
Maybe I have the numbers reversed. This is how I had it setup when I hosted a realm for my kids. I also built a series of teleporters to send them to specific places from the central hub.
You will need to op them using the Realm's Player GUI.
If you have achievements instead of advancements then you must be playing the Bedrock edition so you run a real risk of locking them out.
I'm pretty sure the lock is stored in the save file so a locked world imported to the Realm will probably still be locked.
Though you should probably ask in the Bedrock section of the forums to increase your chances of getting an answer from somebody with actual relevant experience.
Can't you just make an extra copy, switch that to creative mode and load that into the Realm to test?

I took this from reddit:

Just testing.
You can mess around with the level.dat file in a third party program, but that's really cheatty.
