I'm new to Minecraft and have the new Better together update on Xbox One.
I had build K1's storage system into my world in the xbox one edition but in the new update neither the 3x3 item elevator works or the dropper elevators.
Anyone know how I can fix them? I noticed with the 3x3 elevator that items just drop into the spaces around the piston, where the redstone is.
The dropper elevators just don't seem to work at all.
I've tried rebuilding them in creative so I can try and fix them but everything I've tried doesn't work.
Thanks for any help! Below is the youtube video for the storage system.
Yeah, glass item elevators don't work in the bedrock engine. Dropper elevators work though. Most regular designs should work. What dropper elevator design are you using? Could you post a picture?
To be honest, for the dropper elevators I can't seem to get any to work. I've been through a few different designs on YouTube. It looks like the redstone circuits are working ok but the droppers don't move anything. I've attached a screenshot of the one from the video above rebuilt in creative.

Do you have any designs you know work?
I am having the same problem. I tried the torch method both methods (with and without hopper circuit) with droppers and the new observer block method. I can't get items to go up the droppers they just stay in the first dropper. The redstone circuit is lighting up like it should and acting like it is working but the droppers seem unresponsive.
Thanks for posting the image. This is similar to other designs I've seen for PE but what you have wouldn't work because the torch signal would not activate the dropper at all. One side of the torch tower needs to be touching the droppers instead of being off of a corner. Looks like you have the hoppers set up as a clock. Many of the designs I've seen use a circuit that will keep ticking for a bit after the bottom dropper is emptied to get all the items out of the droppers, but that clock would stop soon after it's emptied so items would get stuck in the line. If you can tell me more about what exactly you're doing with it I can suggest a design. Stuff like how high it goes, is it ok to have items stuck in the line, are you resource or space limited.
BTW, Observers don't detect dropper or hopper updates. Observers are a lot less useful for us than for the java guys.
Thanks for your help. For my design I want to be able to move a lot of items into storage at the same time. Like after a mining session. Ideally, it wouldn't keep items waiting in the droppers if possible. Resources aren't an issue and it has to climb 10 blocks.
Excellent, here's a design I'm using for feeding a sorting system myself. Pictures below show just the first two layers, but repeat that up the stack. What's nice about it is it's easy to build once you get the pattern (nothing more complicated at the bottom) and no items get stuck in the stack no matter how high it goes. I've seen the design in various places online so I'm not sure who to credit for it. Let me know if you'd like a full explanation of how it works. Oh, and let me know how it works out. I'd love to see your system.
I need help with my item elevator, there's a dropper that drops the items up through the glass but when it reaches the top it most of the time gets stuck underneath the hoppers. Is there a way I can fix it?
This is the bedrock forum section (they just call it "Minecraft", which is confusing), you're playing Java. Glass elevators don't work in bedrock. Unfortunately, we won't have anything helpful for you here. You should post under the Minecraft Java Edition section.
Why not just use a bubble stream? Its way-way way easier to build, and requires next to nothing for resources, other than a bucket of water and 1 piece of soul sand.

Thanks, that's a shame about the glass elevators.

Thanks MuddJester. I’ll give it a go.
