Hello! I have been toying around with Minecraft Bedrock and trying to see what I can do with add-ons and custom items to spice up my world, so I am pretty new to the add-ons game. I'm also fairly new to programming, and I thought this would be a fun way to learn hands-on. I've been trying to add a texture for a custom item and I have had no luck. When I look into the code I have what I need. I've placed the following lines of code under both the vanilla and atlas.name sections, when in the vanilla section it had a comma after the closing bracket.
I've tried changing code in both the behavior pack and resource pack, and nothing seems to get the texture to show in game. I will attach screenshots below which shows what I get in-game. Before anyone asks, yes I do make sure I change the manifest.json file before I try re-launching Minecraft. Has anyone had this problem and/or knows how to fix this issue and would be willing to give me advice on how to fix it?
From my experience, item textures won't show up unless they have a client item file in the resource pack. I wouldn't know what to do in your case, though. Because I've been using Bridge, which basically writes the code for me. But here's what the one I made yesterday looks like:
I don't know if youve toyed with custom entities and their custom models, but im having problems with that. any help is appreciated. My custom mob won't appear. Any help?

I'm also having the same problem, although I did "atlas.items", maybe try that.
