Welcome to Long Dive, a datapack+resourcepack where you can only breathe underwater! Will you be able to beat the game, going to the nether, finding an end portal and finally defeating the Ender Dragon? Try and see! Craft special items and don't let yourself run out of oxygen!
The Lore: you only remember listening to music while going back home, and suddenly all became black... but what happened? Everything is so strange... this place... where are the buildings? Were these mountains here before? And why can you breathe underwater? You don't have the answer to any of the questions, so you decide you are going to discover by yourself. You emerge out of the water and... what is that? Why can't you breathe? You try but... the air... it's like it doesn't want to fill your lungs... you go back to the water.
Whatever has happened, the only thing you know is that you can breathe underwater but the air seems like poison to you. Will you be able to survive alone or with your friends? There must be a way... a way to go back home.
How to craft the datapack's items
To craft an item you must simply throw its components on top of a Magma Block. They must be at a maximum distance of 1 block from each other for the crafting to work. The following structure is recommended for crafting items underwater:
(the images are opposite to each other in angle)
NOTE: this structure is not required for the craftings to work. Only a Magma Block is required for that, as described previously.
[ CRAFTING LIST ]
• Oxygen Monitor - Displays your current and maximum amount of Oxygen.
NOTE (on Oxygen Cells): The game only considers the highest Oxygen Cell level you have in your inventory. Having two Oxygen Cell A1s won't increase your maximum Oxygen to 1000, it will still make it 750. And if you have one Oxygen Cell B2 and one Oxygen Cell B3 on your inventory, your maximum Oxygen won't be 4000, it will still be 2500.
NOTE (on Oxygen Drainers): The amount of Oxygen Drainers you have does not matter, what matters is having them in your inventory. For maximum efficiency on Oxygen recovery, you need to have one (and only one) of each type of Oxygen Drainer (that is, an Oxygen Drainer First, an Oxygen Drainer Second and an Oxygen Drainer Third).
NOTE: For a Gadget to work it only needs to be in your inventory, anywhere in your inventory.
