I have been trying to create some entity/mob models in blockbench. So far there has been 2 problems. I'm sure here will be many more.
I'm in the progress of making a dinosaur addon, all of it has transfered to the pack properly I think but in-game the models look different.
1. The Ceratosaurus (Reddish head one with dark grey and cream colored body) replaces evoker and doesn't appear at all in-game, just a shadow. Is this a problem with the texture or model?
2. The Carnotaurus (Dark brown one) replaces vindicator and DOES appear in-game. However its neck, horns and arms are not in the right place.
Is there a way to fix this in blockbench?
Is it a problem with blockbench?
Is it a problem in the code?
Is it something else?
Does anyone else have this problem?
Is anyone able to help?
If it is a problem with blockbench is there an alternative program where this problem doesn't occur?
Also does anyone know what the Jurassicraft addon (not mod) was made with?

I have a similar problem with a new entity created using vanilla resources. I've submitted it on Jira, but haven't seen any updates yet. Although this was on the 1.9.0.3 beta, so could just be an issue in Beta. Seems to work fine on 1.8.
As for your scenario, are you creating new models for the dinosaurs or just changing the models for a mob to look like your newly created mob? If the latter, my guess is that the entity animation is putting the new "bones" in the spot for the vindicator or something along those lines.
mi pregunta como hiciste para hacer eso que tutorial usaste y donde que yo se hacer los modelos pero no exportarlos me ayudas? que quiero "mejorar" los modelos vanilla para un texturepack como le hago?
Minecraft might be having trouble when loading the model.
Usually, when Minecraft fails to load a texture it overrides it with a black and magenta checkboard:
(basically like that)
So if you are not even seeing the creature at all, it might be a problem with the model. I'm afraid I can not point to a solution or help you with the other dinosaur's misplaced parts, but I hope this helped you to get closer to solving this problem. Have a good day!
