I've been involved in UO free servers and creating / modding worlds in C# for almost 5 years now.
My kids have gotten me invested in Minecraft and I'm hoping someone can give me some good references to scripting Mods for Minecraft.
Javascript seems easy enough to grasp after learning C# so I'm just looking for a good point of reference when I need to look up methods, examples of existing mods, etc.
since you are posting in the bedrock edition section of the forums i recommend starting out by downloading the official vanilla addon files.
Note that in the current version "1.8" most addon development is done using easily configurable json files. but in the current beta updates they're rolling out a new scripting api that does NOT replace the current addon system, but rather adds to it. scripts are written in JavaScript and the documentation and everything else can be found here.
Note that the current scripting api is subject to change
