resize the skin from 64x64 to 64x32. the lower layers of the skin (i.e. out skin layers and hat layers) are currently not surported. resizing the skin to 64x32 will fix the issue
I found an easier way. Simple download this app and have your skin that you want to convert set on your Minecraft PC account if you have one. Then use the skin stealer and from there import the skin into your Photos and you're good to go. If you don't have a PC account then I'm afraid I can't help you. So sorry! Also, it seems for me that changing it to a 64 x 64 made it work, not 64 x 32. May be different I don't know. Have fun!
Can somebody convert this? I am not doing it correctly when I try.
Sure
Also, a bit of background on the issue, this problem comes up because PC updated the skin format to the new 64x64 template in 1.8, but PE still uses the 1.7 format. Luckily, the upper-half of the skin is still the same so you can just convert it in any old picture editing program that supports transpearency, including "GIMP 2" or "Paint.net" and probably others I havent heard of. But the "Paint" application that comes with Windows unfortunately doesn't support transparent (see-though) pixels, thus making the "hat" layer all messed up.
I could've sworn that there was website that would do this for you and make it still look good, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where that is?

If you are using a custom skin that you uploaded via your phone's hard drive, then it will be in your phone's photos, if it is just plug your phone (or whatever device you're using, you really didn't tell me anything) into your computer with a USB charger thing, and then you can open the phone's hard drive like a flash drive, and then extract the skin's texture from there.
But I have no idea what your situation is, because you really didn't tell me anything, so this might be no help to you.
Well I'm using skinseed on my iPad and I got a pc for my bday and idk if I would be able to get my skin from skinseed or if I would somehow have to make it again

open your skin in an image editor and change the resolution from 64x64 to 64x32. This is easy stuff man
that only suplorts three predefined sizes and 64x32 is not one of them
Can you resize mine? I can't find image editors to do so.

No, you cut it the wrong way! You are supposed to cut the BOTTOM bit out, not the RIGHT side out!

So basically, I'm stupid.

Someone can make me smaller this skin is even a premium or haci serves to minecraft pe
What do you mean by "smaller"? If you mean you want your in-game character to appear smaller than other players, then that is impossible.
So basically, I'm stupid.
How did you resize
You need to use a image editing program like photoshop, paint.NET, or GIMP, just to name a few.

How do I get a skin I created on skin seed on to my computer?
