You can't just take his models and textures without permission like this.

But... you stole the mod? Or at least all the mods assets?

If you guys would read, i gave credit to all to mevans at the top of the forum. READ BEFORE YOU POST!!!! The only reason i said that was because people are taking the modscript and posting their own links to make money off of them. My latest has gotten over 4000 downloads and only 800 are from my link:( Thats why i said that. So please dont go posting on forums saying i "STOLE" the models and textures because i did give 100% credit to all textures and models to mevans. I even linked his pc mod forum on mine.

It's still stealing if you don't get permission. That's like saying, "I stole this TV, but I give all credit to the original manufacturer."

Not necesarily. I gave 100% credit to pc mod creator for using the textures and all who download the mod are aware because its above the download link. What im saying is im only claiming the modpe script not the textures. the textures are 100% mevans and that is stated at the top of the post. It isnt stealing if you give credit to original creator. What your saying is like when a youtuber does a mod review on a mod but gives credit to mod creator, its stealing the mod. Its only stealing if he/she goes against what i said(using my mod as example) and puts a link to an alternate download page than mine. thats stealing. And one more question i need to ask is did you download this mod? if so then why are you even complaining. Its because of the people like you that i have to say that the modpe script is mine and say that i need all links to this forum. If i dont link it to the forum, then people dont see the credit link and they hate on Youtube. Why cant you just be happy that im taking time out of my schedule to work on a mod for you. If you guys are just going to keep getting pissed because of textures then ill abandon the project. After looking around today im seriously thinking about stopping and only make it for personal use.

Sorry, but that's not how it works, try uploading a Skyrim mod to the Nexus with assets from someone else, you'll be lucky if you don't get an IP Ban, or even better, try creating a game with models and textures from another game, doesn't matter if you credit the original author, you'll get in trouble, and you are using adfly in your download link, that means you are getting money with Mevans' work. I suggest you contact him to gain his permission or, to make things fair, contact a texture/model maker to help you in the mod, you don't need to stop, just do your own thing.

Fine and what would you guys have me do? Stop updating the mod? Did you guys even download the mod? What about all the other mods out there who port down and use textures from pc mod? They dont even credit creator. WHeres the hate on those mods?

I understand where you are coming from but this isnt like taking someones work, its like writing an essay. You have to citate your work and doing that, your not plagarizing. If i wouldnt have credited mevans for his work then yes that would be stealing. This mod is on several different sites. It would have been taken down by now. Mevans would have seen it too. If he did have a problem with it, i would hope he would contact me and let me know. I have PM him several times telling him about me using the textures and that the mod is getting bigger. He has not responded yet. As of right now im going to keep updating the mod until further notice.

Ill look into it soon but i am working on LOTR PE right now so it may be a while. Try copying the variables from tmo and the code and see if that works.

Thanks moo for adding the mod's items to the creative item menu. It's very handy feature already. I can now see all items/ mobs that are in the mod. I know you're still in beta for the mod but maybe the mobs can be they're own mob rather than a cover up from a vanilla mob like zombie or spider etc. because everytime I exit then enter the same world all modded mobs are they're original model. If not then can you at least fix that problem. P.S. is there a place where we can discuss bugs and wanted features in the forum or is this the place to do so?
